2. Current Music Therapy research with residents living with dementia Care in environments and applications by Kendra Ray

3.  Overview of MUSIC & MEMORY℠ with residents living with dementia research in Care environments and applications by  Deborah Ferris (M&M)

4. Conduct an Engaging and Interactive overview of combing evidenced based music therapy interventions and MUSIC & MEMORY℠ (personalized music listening)  by John Abel

Becky Watson is passionate about serving older adults, care partners and health care professionals with evidenced based Music Therapy programs and Music Wellness programs as the owner of Music for Wellness,LLC.  After serving her country for over 25 years and achieving the rank of Navy Captain, Becky completed her Music Therapy degree at Loyola, New Orleans and completed a Music Therapy Internship at Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg, VA.

MUSIC & MEMORY℠ is a non-profit organization that brings personalized music into the lives of the elderly or infirm through digital music technology, vastly improving quality of life.  We train nursing home staff and other elder care professionals, as well as family caregivers, how to create and provide personalized playlists using iPods and related digital audio systems that enable those struggling with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other cognitive and physical challenges to reconnect with the world through music-triggered memories.
