1

This Health Beat Video is LIVE from the Old Dominion University (ODU) Business Gateway Small Business Resource Day. During this event, I played the Angel Harp to share the benefits of music to reduce stress and anxiety, especially for entrepreneurs.

This event included opening remarks from the ODU Business Gateway Executive Director, Marty Kaszubowski, and Cherylnn Sagester (Director of Veteran Business Outreach Center) highlighted the importance of attending local events and training symposiums to learn of the resources available.

Additionally there were Resource Partner breakout sessions, exhibit hall, and a networking social for all attendees. The Goal of the resource day included showcasing programs and services to help business owners to develop and grow their small business. We interacted with Lenders, Business Attorneys, Insurance Companies, Financial Institutions, Accountants, and many others.

  • Horses Helping Heroes “Thank you for your very thorough report. I can say, as not only the Program Director but also a Board member, that I am impressed with how well you grasped the workings of our program with just your short exposure to this wonderful service to our veterans.” Horses-Helping-Heros
