January 19, 2104:  Citi “Realizing YOUR dream Business” Competition, Long Beach, CA

citi trophy

I’m EXTREMELY proud to share that Music for Wellness, LLC was a semi-finalist and received the “Social Venture” Award during the Citi “Realizing YOUR dream Business” Competition.

During the closing awards ceremony, the speaker quoted my comments,  “Becky Watson summed it up best during her presentation….by being  here today, I’m already a winner”…  WOW,   that was amazing to hear  him say that to over 200 veteran women!      website:   http://vets.syr.edu/and-the-winners-are/

My biggest lesson learned from this experience is to reach out for  help through local business organizations (SCORE, SBA, VBOC) and find  a mentor/coach…I’d like to thank everyone who helped me along this  process!

Thanks again for the support, kind thoughts and help all of you have provided.  This was a TREMENDOUS learning experience for me … I   have GROWN immensely as a business owner and IGNITED MY PASSION even more of serving veterans and seniors with the active use of MUSIC!
